Which editing software do you use?
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut and Descript, plus Canva for thumbnails and simple motion. Projects are built under your licenses where you have them and source project files are saved to your drive, so you can move editors or bring the work in-house without losing anything.
How many videos can one editor produce a week?
A dedicated 160-hour editor typically delivers one long-form YouTube edit of 10 to 20 minutes plus eight to twelve short clips a week, or more shorts if there is no long-form. Volume depends on footage quality, graphics load and revision rounds; we set a realistic number at onboarding and adjust it at the weekly review.
Do you add captions and are they accurate?
Yes. Captions are generated by transcription tools, then read and corrected by the editor for names, product terms and punctuation before export. You get burned-in captions in your brand style for social and an SRT file for YouTube and accessibility. The team lead spot-checks caption accuracy on the monthly QA scorecard.
Can the editor also upload and schedule the videos?
Yes. With access to your YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok and LinkedIn, the editor uploads finished files, writes titles and descriptions from your notes, adds tags, chapters and end screens, sets the thumbnail and schedules the publish time. Publishing stays in approval mode until you switch it to pre-approved.
How do revisions work?
Comment on the timestamp in Frame.io, Google Drive or your review tool and the editor returns a new cut the same or next business day. Two rounds per video are normal. If a video keeps bouncing, the team lead reviews the style sheet with you so the fix lands in the template rather than the next edit.
What footage quality do you need from us?
Phone footage is fine if the audio is clear. We send a short recording checklist at onboarding: lighting, framing, a lapel or USB mic, and a clap at the start for sync. The editor flags audio or framing issues in the end-of-day report so the next session improves.
Can you create videos without us on camera?
Yes. Faceless formats such as screen recordings with voiceover, product b-roll with text overlays, slideshow explainers and stock-footage stories are common. The editor builds these from your script or notes, with voiceover recorded by you or produced with a tool you approve. Anything factual is checked against the source you supply.
