Why we publish
This editorial policy explains how every page on assistbpo.com is written, sourced, reviewed and refreshed. We publish guides, phone scripts, SOP templates, comparison pages, glossary entries and research so that business owners, practice managers and operations leads can decide what to delegate and how, whether or not they ever hire us. Content that exists only to sell would not earn a reader’s trust, so we hold it to the standard we would want for our own clients.
Who writes these pages, and who reviews them?
Every guide has a named author and a named reviewer from the team page. Authors are the people who run the desks: Shahzaib Shah, founder and CEO; Nimra Khalid, Chief Operating Officer; and Issabela Masters, General Manager. The author is responsible for accuracy and clarity. The reviewer is an operations lead who checks the figures, the compliance statements and the country-specific rules before publication, and who cannot be the same person as the author. Both names and the review date appear on the page.
Service, role, industry, software and location pages are reviewed for accuracy by the General Manager, and pages that describe controls or country rules are reviewed by the Chief Operating Officer. The review date is shown at the top of each page.
Where do the figures and statistics come from?
Statistics, prices and benchmarks are cited to a named source with a date, and we link to the source where it is public. We prefer primary sources: regulators such as the FCC, the ICO, the CRTC and the ACMA, official statistics, salary data from named publishers, and software vendors’ own documentation. Third-party market data is used only when the publisher and date are stated. If a number cannot be sourced, it does not go in. We never fabricate statistics, quotes, client names, staff names, credentials or results.
Cost benchmarks are third-party published ranges for orientation. They are never AssistBPO prices. The methodology page explains how the site’s own numbers are counted.
Case studies and scenarios
Case studies use figures taken from the client’s own systems at the start and end of an engagement, verified by the owner before publication, and anonymized unless the client approves naming. Until a figure is verified the page says it is pending. Illustrative scenarios on industry and service pages are labeled as such and claim no results. Testimonials are never marked up as reviews or ratings.
Comparison pages
Comparison and alternatives pages describe other providers from their public websites and third-party reports, with a source and a date. We aim to be fair: each page states who that provider is a good fit for, and competitor prices appear only as published. We do not rate providers, and no provider pays to appear or to be described favorably. If you represent a provider described on the site and believe something is inaccurate, use the corrections process below.
Country and compliance pages
Pages that describe calling, messaging and privacy rules in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia are plain-language summaries of the rules we operate under, written from the regulators’ own guidance and reviewed by the Chief Operating Officer. They are not legal advice, and each page says so.
Is any of this written by AI?
Drafts may be prepared with AI assistance. Every AI-assisted draft is checked line by line, edited and approved by a named reviewer before it is published, and the reviewer is accountable for it in the same way as for any other page. AI tools are never a source; every fact still has to trace to a cited publication or a primary document. We do not use AI to generate statistics, quotes or case-study results.
Independence and paid placements
We do not accept payment for placements, reviews, links or mentions. Software and providers are named because they are relevant to the reader, not because of any commercial arrangement. Our software pages describe what an assistant does inside a tool through the client’s own account. We hold no partner, reseller, certification or referral status with any software vendor or provider named on the site, and if that ever changes it will be disclosed on the page concerned.
Refresh cycle
Pages are reviewed at least once a quarter. Published competitor prices, third-party benchmarks, software features and calling rules change often, so the reviewer checks each cited figure against its source and updates the review date. Compliance pages are also reviewed whenever a relevant rule changes.
How do I report an error?
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Report an error by email to sales@assistbpo.com with the page address, what is wrong and, where you have it, the correct source. We check the claim against its source and reply. Confirmed errors are corrected on the page and the review date is updated; where the error was material, a note at the top of the page says what changed, for 30 days. We do not quietly edit published facts.
Plain language
We write in plain, sentence-case English at a reading level suitable for a business owner, with US spelling on global and US pages and local spelling on UK, Canadian and Australian pages. We avoid jargon where a plain word exists, and we define terms in the glossary when we cannot.
Boundaries
Site content is general information, not legal, tax, financial, medical or employment advice. Job-seeker content appears only on the careers page. Service, role and industry pages describe the role delivered to a client and never target people looking for work.
